FavorSea Africa is a South African-based company that has been in operation for over 15 years. It has invested significantly, through its partners and developers, in the research and development (R&D) of mining safety technology, production management, mining and mineral sector, and automation systems for both the surface and underground mining environments.

These R&D endeavours have led to technological breakthroughs with multiple applications in both domestic & international markets. These technologies have grown in development maturity as FavorSea Africa unceasingly strives for ongoing functional and service capability improvement.

At FavorSea Africa, we are privileged to partner with highly regarded manufacturing enterprises and prestigious research & design institutes in China’s mining and mineral processing sector. We have built excellent relationships with our suppliers and bring world-class “INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY” mining products to the African market and across all continents.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent after-sales and on-site service and support, which helps minimise downtime and helps our clients focus on their core business.

BACKGROUND

Founded in South Africa in 2007 as a technology-driven company, FavorSea began exporting products for the domestic mining and construction sector. Following its early success, FavorSea Africa consolidated and expanded its business by providing local customer liaison, technical support and after-sales service for its growing client base. FavorSea Africa has, since then, added to their marketability by locally manufacturing and assembling their products in South Africa.

As a recognised mining technology provider, FavorSea Africa decided in 2020 that pursuing SHEQ ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018 certifications was a fundamental step towards showing its ability and zeal to attain continuous IMS improvements. The demanding certification and audit process demonstrated FavorSea Africa’s unwavering dedication to provide the highest quality standards in product manufacturing and services that meet or surpass customers' expectations. These latest accomplishments in obtaining ISO SHEQ certification confirm the company’s drive towards excellence.

FavorSea Africa has subsequently expanded its scope of activities. It now has an international management structure, supported by a multilingual team based in Beijing, conducting business across South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Indonesia and Australia.

The name ‘FavorSea’ loosely translates as “Favour or bounty conferred by the sea”, a modern maritime silk road.
